Staff were welcoming, spoke very good English which helped our limited French! They were happy for us to take in our dog. The hotel bar was busy and buzzing, again with welcoming staff. Excellent location, close to the beach, shops, bars restaurants and tourist attractions. Our dog was allowed to come to breakfast with us, no need to leave her alone in our room. The room was spacious and very clean, with a newly refurbished bathroom. We asked for a quiet room, away from the street and bar noise and were given a room on the 3rd floor overlooking a courtyard. No air con but two Juliet balconies with opening doors helped with the heat. Unfortunately we had very inconsiderate guests in the room above who banged, crashed and shouted about until past midnight. The reception staff were very helpful and understanding and spoke to the guests asking them to be more considerate. Unloading the car if arriving after midday is challenging, due to road restrictions!

Have stayed here many times before in the past and the hotel always delivers what you expect, the new lift that has been added is a very good addition compared to the old one that was used for many years, the new breakfast room everything in one place and not spread out like in previous visits, very good breakfasts as always something for everyone.

Absolutely amazing double size room with a castle view for very little extra money. Well worth the price difference. Huge beautiful bathroom with a giant bathtub and separate shower. Two televisions on either side of a room divider. Fantastic view overlooking the happy buzz of the cafs below. Will definitely come back and request this room.

We booked last minute for a night there. It was pricey but the location and the period explains it. The room was quiet small and minimal however it was comfortable and the staff was lovely and welcoming.
